A fun-tastic debut! The Fifth Soul is an adult fantasy story with great characters and a tantalizing mystery, insterspersed with equally funny and tender moments. The writing is accessible and the world-building/magic is simple. I'm looking forward to seeing where the rest of the story goes in book 2! Hoping we get to see more of Jesse and Janelle ☺️

I LOVED this closed door romantasy. This fantasy novel is about a girl who has a rare gift. She uses her gift to steal from a royal family because she needs the money, but gets caught in the process. The prince convinces her to work for him in exchange for his help saving her friend. This is a low angst romance with high stakes political intrigue. It absolutely needs to be on your 2025 TBR!

This is a fantastic read that soared straight to the top of my favorites list. I loved the world, the realms, and the kingdoms. You get just enough world building to visualize this unique and beautiful world, while still having a nicely flowing plot. I loved the suspense and danger, the training with competitors and found family, and how the FMC finds her place in that world. Bianca is a brave, strong, and protective FMC with a kind soul. Brandon Oscuro is the perfect book boyfriend material. He is strong and powerful, but kind and good. The dual POV in this romantasy hit just right. This is a plot driven story with a feel good romance along the way. I loved the main characters. I loved the people who surround the main characters. The Fifth Soul is a book that I really enjoyed reading. The story is great and really well written. I will recommend this to everyone, hands down. I will 100% read this again, and I cannot wait for book two (which I will read immediately).

This is a book I think fans of ACOTAR and Fourth Wing will enjoy. It’s a unique story of its own, but has some feels of each of those.

5+⭐️ 🫑 (barely steamy feeling, no spice romance)

This book. I LOVED IT. It's a kind of modern high fantasy with found family, reluctant allies to lovers, with multiple side romances.

So much happened in this book but the author wrote it in a way that was not overwhelming. The world building was very interesting and I feel it was unique, as I haven't read a lot of books with angels, demons, humans and magical humans. There is not fae in this story but some people possess magic so it makes them not fully human.

The plot was fast paced but not too fast. The author definetly knows how to write some twists. I was sitting there with my mouth half open multiple times throughout the book.

The book takes place in multiple settings and the plot is full of action and suspense! From royalty homes to secrets island, you will find many a myriad of dangerous creatures that are either friend or foe.
I have so many theories and so many questions and I absolutely cannot wait for the next book!

I absolutely adore each and every character (well maybe not some) and the side characters added so much to the storyline.

I received a free copy of an audiobook from the author in exchange for an honest review. I have a hard time with audio books and narrators sometimes but let me tell you the narrator added so much to the story! At first I struggled a little but once I got a couple chapters in I was absolutely hooked!
